Blackfire WHIPLASH!

Agreed on the "better than showroom" appearance. One of the other detailing gurus referenced the "dealer installed swirls" option that many people end up with.
I've been using the typical wash, clay, polish, seal approach. Meguiars mirror glaze #83 and Lake County pads usually for the polishing. Klasse paint sealant for the final coat. I want to try some of the other products that others on the forum like, but can't bring myself to spend even MORE money on detailing products until I use up some of what I've already purchased.
Pollen in W. Michigan was BRUTAL a few weeks ago! I had the F150 all set for sealant on a Saturday night when I was too tired to finish so I closed up the garage and called it a night. The next morning it was covered in yellow pollen. Yeah, it had been windy and apparently a ton of that stuff was airborne when I closed the garage. Fortunately it blew right off so I was able to apply sealant with minimal work beforehand.

I hear ya loud and clear about the money aspect, your cart can up quickly when getting all the products and materials needed. Sounds like you have a good plan there tho. In my opinion the process and techniques are more important than what you products you use. I will do another coat or two of the BF Crystal Seal in 3 month and then polish and wax again in 6 months. I am thinking I will use BF Total Polish and Seal with LC Black PAD in lieu of the BF Finishing Polish with the LC White (use this only annually to give a good paint cleaning).
Glad to hear it work out for after the pollenaggedon you had. Always seems to be something that hinders you work. I am sure in all your hard paid off after starring at truck with the "better than showroom" finish!

Didn't get a chance for "good" pics, but here's what I could get out of the garage and a second "side by side" attempt at shine off of two vehicles in the "stable".

Sorry, just now getting back to see the reflection shots of your truck. That looks damn good! Goes to show that its not necessarily the products that you use but the more so the process. Nice job on the truck!
