As the title states lately I've noticed that this forum is like super slow compared to the other ones I frequent. What gives? I know its not my internet speed, sometimes i can't even get the main page to load?

yea i will have to refresh for it to do anything its abnormaly slow =/ maby to many users on a site not designed to handle the ammount we have

We just put this site on a new server, so it should be pretty darn fast. Let me look in to what might be slowing things down!

The only things that I have noticed is that sometimes when entering a thread after making a post, things sorta lock up until the page is refreshed.

Just for reference sake, it took me 17 seconds from the time I clicked the title till the time the thread actually appeared.

It does the same to me but only on occasion. But it be so slow to load that I can't stand it. Came back an hour later and it's usually back to normal speeds. And by occasion I'd guesstimate once to twice per week.

Hey guys...if you could post here once you have a problem that would be great. I've got a ticket open with our server admin company and if I can catch the problem when it happens, I have a better shot of figuring out what the deal is!
