I've been on my fair share of forums and the last one had a really good trader rating system to help minimize scams and people with bad buying/selling history.

It works like Ebay's rating and you can receive/leave + (good) or - (bad) rating for each transaction. That number will then be visible at all times under each person's screen name by their post count.

I noticed we don't have anything like that here and would help people feel MUCH more secure about transactions.

I think this system should be highly considered to be put in place as there is no adverse effects from it.

We have kicked this idea around a lot. The reason we don't implement it is that it becomes a popularity tool. Theres no systems in place in any software to only allow people to post trader ratings for members they have dealt with in a transaction. Anyone can go to your profile and add positive or negative points.

We've instead set up a "purchase experience" section for members to post all comments on specific users. If a potential purchaser wants to research a seller, use that section.
