yeah i always kind of wondered about the whole nominating yourself deal. lets have an overhaul for the TOTM contest!

I agree with ya'll about nominating your own truck. When I first joined, I thought it was kind of strange that you nominated your own truck, but there are few face-to- face encounters outside of this site. So nobody is really going to know the work that is been done to your truck but you. So, it kind of made sense that you would put your truck up for TOTM and let the members decide...

That is how we do it on another forum I am on. We each nominate two choices and we take the top six and then open the voting.
Are choices are for MOTM (member of the month) though. That way it is not just the people that have the most dollars in the vehicle. As a lot of guys cant afford it. We vote on members and vehicle on how much they help people out on the forum.

Thats another good idea. but its not always the most expensive truck that wins. there have been some just sweet older trucks that have won because they are so much cooler than newer one that has everything you can imagine done to it. but i like the idea of you have to be a contributing member of this forum to get into TOTM. that way your not just voting the truck in but also the owner.
