Default Threads Being Hijacked By Vendors

Have you all noticed how there is one vendor on this forum that is allowed to jump in and advertise their products on threads outside the Vendor Forums? It turns a decent thread into a order taking platform and the intent of the thread is lost. Can we guess which vendor that is?

I say if they can do it, we should be able to say, "I have a stock Raptor exhaust that I will sell for $100" Pick up in Central FLA area. (and not get bounced) Why have a for sale section?

A lot of vendors, Mike at 5-Star, Tasca, etc play by the rules... It sucks for them.

Just my opinion...I guess I have a case of the Chap ***** today. Sorry....

Report his threads, highly unlikely the mods even know he's doing it unless you report him. I don't care enough to report him, but you do have a valid point.

Funny how this thread got moved that quick...but AJUSA can do it all day long.

Time to leave this site if they won't moderate and apply their own rules.

I just went through an entire years worth of reported posts and not one of them was from you. BTW, I moved this to the appropriate section.

If you cant provide examples, links or report the posts your are talking about than we cant help answer your question. Vague questions get vague answers.

I have been working with Raider on this....provided lots of examples and links. She is no longer moderating.

Thanks for the response though....Hey at the end of the day, I don't care anymore. I will just encourage others to do the same. It is obviously not an issue. I don't wabt to see this site turn into a want add and e-bay site. Your job as a moderator would be to monitor threads, etc. Since you were so quick to move mine, I am sure that you review the others and are OK with AJUSA responding in threads to sell their products or start threads outside the Vendor section.

It's not that difficult to see what threads they respond too and look at them. I do that with my own...Just do some research...it will take all of 5 minutes

I like AJUSA as a vendor and appreciate what they do...I don't like rules if they only apply to some and I don't want this forum to meet the demise of so many others.

Consider this closed then....I am the one with the problem, and I need to chill.

I know that none of the mods here have time to scan through every thread posted every day, I just so happen to have noticed this thread in the "new posts" when I got on this morning. This has been brought up before in the staff section about vendors posting ads outside of the vendor section. I personally have an issue with the tech sections being used for anything but tech topics but the powers that be (above me) seem to not mind so my hands are tied. So unless someone above me wants to answer this thats as good of an answer I can give you.
