As far as the use the search thing, yeah it does get annoying but so does seeing the same topic come up over and over but it happens. Ive actually never had an issue finding anything Ive ever searched for on here, the search works exactly the same way here as it does on any other forum Ive been on. I used it just yesterday as a matter of fact!
valid point, but i love it in the 2009 and later section so much!

this thread has caused me great amusement while at work for the last 10 minutes lol

to search or not to search that is the question....ive seen people post a question that has an almost exact question in a thread right under it. That is frustrating....you know they didnt search worth a crap.

It is also frustrating to do a search and have it give you every post in america having to do with one key word of your search. usually if i can i will find a link for them. and throw the smart-*** remark in (depending on what mood im in) "google is your friend" lol

i suppose im on the fence here too....but i guess its easier to just b a d-bag for the cool points then to help someone.

Very good observation. My belief is for some people (for whatever reason) it is easier for them to do this than just ignore the post. It is like a child at the check out in the store. That end-cap full of stuff is calling their name!

I just wish people would READ THE OWNERS MANUAL.

It is just amazing what can be found there.

I love owners manual questions. Those, and "does anyone know the measurements of (easily accessible item)?" I saw one yesterday that was asking for the dimensions of the little compartment under the steering wheel on 97-04s. In the time it took to write the post, he could have measured it twice!
