So long Ford Forum
At one time, I enjoyed reading the information in and posting information in this and other forums. It seems that now it is just too top heavy with ads and really annoying hover pop-ups. Every page in this forum I visit has an annoying feature that when hovering over certain text, a pop-up ad appears. Now I realize that these sites cost money to create and maintain, and ad revenue provides for the costs, but for my taste, you have exceeded what is reasonable. So....good-by Ford forum. Been nice, but I don't need the aggravation. We are bombarded by commercials 24X7 on TV, radio, the internet, mail, signs along the road, and even when I turn on some appliances. It's time to send a message to those bottom feeders who make a living creating the ads, that enough is enough.

I joined because I have just bought a new truck, I visit all types of forums where there are ad's, but there are ways to block(Adblock) some of them.
Somebody has to pay to keep the site up and going.

You have an adware program installed on your pc that's causing the hover pop ups, had it on mine and found it in add/remove programs in control panel, uninstall it and your good to go.

No problem here on this forum for me.
For the various pages I do visit that have popups, AdBlock takes care of them - no cost either.

The ones the OP is talking about are regular text in a paragraph underlined and in blue and when you mouse over them they pop up with search suggestions and/or a clickable link to what the adware creator "thinks" the person might want, it's shameful advertising as it is very generic and very aggravating for anyone that is just moving their mouse it will populate your screen with the garbage ADWARE.
If you have never experienced it you are fortunate.
Example shown: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-text-enhance-virus/ the link is safe as it tells how to remove that crap.
It's typically installed when you are presented with a software install and select the (Recommended) rather than the (Custom) install.
When you click custom it will present you with things like (also install toolbar xyz etc pre checked so you have to un-check them,) most people are not puter savvy and instantly think they (must) use the recommended install.
