Actually, it is a public forum. If it were a private forum not everyone could look at it.

No it's not, a public forum will let you post without becoming a member first, this is not a public forum as it requires membership to post.

on the dmax forum we have a DF Lounge. here just about anything goes (except nudity/****) seems to work pretty well. You have to be given a password by one of the lounge admins. basically you can't complain about what you read or see in the lounge. if a regular thread starts getting out of hand, it gets moved to the lounge.

it works well for us, this is what I would recommend.

I beg to differ. You don't need to sign up to view anything, therefore it is public. If it were private you couldn't look at anything. Much like Facebook or Photobucket settings, nobody can view your private albums.

I think that there should be more lenience when it come's to venting frustrations and general swearing. But I think the main thing that needs to be considered is legality with pictures, people will post pics without asking for proper permission to have that pic posted. I would hate to see the site shut down for someone posting erroneous pics on here.

My wife and I are members of a "family" forum which had an "R" rated section for select members, I posted pics of my wife on there (with her permission) however, there was a member who didn't get permission for his girlfriends pics and the site was threatened with a lawsuit.

We are walking a fine line ladies and gentlemen, be careful what you wish for.

Ok i just have to say something about kids with access to the internet...

Google, kids have seen most of it already I can guarantee that besides its the parents responsibility to watch what there kids are doing right?

i also agree that i would prefer it to stay clean and not another **** site the internet is already full of them....
