Question Looking for input re:gas gauge problem

2009 F-150 XTR 2WD

VIN# 1FTRX12829FB15138 04/09

0 KM TO E FUEL LEVEL LOW

I know from the local garage that they dropped tank and checked OEM replacement -Sending Unit-Float OK
Checked the complete unit OK
(Mentioned I had 1/2 tank in gas tank-visually & weight)

UPSET IN THE WAY FORD DEALER HANDLED THE SITUATION-CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM (GAS GAUGE NOT REGISTERING PROPERLY) WILL FIND OTHERS PROBLEMS*

*OTHER THAN HAVING THE FRONT BRAKES DONE;
THEIR WAS NO REASON TO UP-SELL THE URGENCY TO MY WIFE ON THE PHONE IN GETTING OTHER WORK DONE.($1800.00)

WANT TO SOLVE PROBLEM AT HAND BEFORE WE START REPLACING PARTS THAT NOT NEED TO BE.

GAS GAUGE NOT FIXED BUT GOT NEW FRONT PADS AND ROTORS.

WHEN ASKED TO SEE THE OLD BRAKE AND ROTORS WE WERE TOLD PART GONE DAY IT WAS REPLACED (COPIES OF INVOICES AVAILABLE)

TRUCK STARTS AND OPERATES NORMALLY, NO STALLING, SAME PERFORMANCE, ALL COMPUTERS HOOKED UP SAYING EVERYTHING IS OK
UNFORTUNATELY IT'S NOT

WELL ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA ON WHAT CAUSING GAS GAUGE TO STOP WORKING PROPERLY??

SOME SAY IT HAS TO BE SOMEWHERE IN THE FRONT END - NO PROBLEM GETTING FUEL - NOT STALLING - LOTS OF POWER - NO GAS GAUGE
NO IDEA - HOPE YOU CAN HELP

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAD SAME ISSUE; AS I'M SURE WE'RE NOT THE FIRST THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TOO.

THANKING ALL IN ADVANCE AND AWAIT YOUR HELP AND EXPERIENCE ASAP

Voiceman
Gary (aka)

PS- HAPPY WIFE-HAPPY LIFE (Not so happy right now)
