yeah, there is no good solution within vbulletin, but we could use another site like this. what do you think? members will use this?

They could if we put a sticky or something on the introduction part of the forum. I don't want to add crap to your site if nobody wants it; I just thought it would be cool to see that since most people already have their city locations that we could see a visual of it and who was there.

I don't know what engine they are running, but dsmtuners.com has a location system set in place for the classified section. It requires you to put in your zip if you want to know how far the seller is from you and it does give the mileage estimate from your zip to that of the seller that was listed in their profile. The seller has to do nothing.
