The chrome thread I made dissolved into anger and chaos pretty quickly.

Alas, it's worth talking about how chrome sucks and how many would-be buyers feel this way, I think.

Is it possible that you clean up the thread I made and re-open it, or perhaps start a less inflammatory one yourselves or something?

I know for a fact Ford guys who matter in development read this forum, and it would be great if there was a thread full of people complaining about chrome. It might actually make a difference in their future plans.

Sorry Paul, some people like chrome. Some don't.

Some people like a 2wd truck, some will only buy 4x4.

Manufacturers offer chrome packages for those who desire it, they offer body colored trim for those who don't.
