Default Forums slow or just too many ads?

Gets frustrating here when I'm on my iPad and I go to click a hyperlink to a sub-forum and the page isn't done loading, and I end up clicking something else that is above or below what I intended on clicking. Then have to go back and remember to let it finish loading so I don't click the same thing again....or just remember to hit stop to interrupt the loading process. Anyone else have this issue?

Same deal here, it's very frustrating. This is the only site I visit that does this.

Yeah it's a pita all right, I have a 20M/sec d/l speed and it slows to a crawl on me a lot of times as well.

What ya gonna do though? $$$ involved.

Any time of the day, and I'm using Safari on my iPad. When I use my MacBook Pro I don't have this problem because I have an ad blocker on it.

Thumbs down

Do you all remember Geocities? It was a website that you could personalize for free, however the stipulation was pop-ups and ads. Well, this site is almost that bad... At the very least, doing away with a big pop-up in the center of your screen after every new page would be very nice! Otherwise people may start flocking else where.

I am also viewing this on my iPad with Safari and Mercury browser.

Can you take a screenshot of the large ad in the center? I don't ever get it but I can look into why it populates in the center.

I don't know how to attach a picture via my iPad, hopefully that link works. Its basically auto ads of automobiles other than Ford. The screenshot provided is of VW.
