Default Small pictures on Galaxy S4

I noticed when I switched to the S4 that when I look at pics, they're really small and I'm not the only one who has this issue. Anything that can be done about it? Here's a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

Is it the Android operating system as a whole that does it this way? My Note3 does the same thing, and there's no way to blow up the pictures. Annoying if you ask me lol

When I had my Nexus S 4G it didn't do that and I think that had a 4" screen or close to it.

I've got the Note 3 and pictures I take come out full size. Go into the camera settings and check the photo size. On my note 3 still running jelly bean I have 5 options to change picture size.

Not the ones we take, I'm talking about when we look at a pic in a thread like this one. When we tap it to look at it, it shows up really small.

Can you screen shot the picture and post it?
