And the 3.7 was in a 2wd vs a 4WD 5.0 . According to past posted dyno runs you can expect around a 30% drivetrain loss with a 4X4. 5 star tuning shows a 2wd 5.0 putting out better numbers than a 2011 F350 6.2 L 4X4 but everybody agrees that at the crank their is no comparison.

I got rid of a couple posts in this thread due to content. If you have questions, see this sticky for clarification.

Maybe I should post all the thankful PM's I got after I made those stickies.

Also, the decision to make that thread and to enforce consequences were made on the opinions of not just myself, but most other members of this board... except for youself obviously. Majority rules, bub. And hey, you know what they say about opinions.

Also, if you don't like ze rules... well, you know.

Being that they're the mods, and racing threads cause nothing but arguments to no avail.........

Yeah, maybe their views should limit the discussion.

(then again, there's the whole lack of common sense involved with racing a 2 1/2+ ton truck.....which dovetails nicely with your comments about the mods)

lol, yeah, gotta give me some credit since im am a pretty big duke fan

coaches with most all-time D1 wins(ok, ok 3 games shy as of right now) and most tourney wins and blah blah blah kinda clouds my judgement lol

and will do about the PM , i realize many people have strong feelings about not racing their trucks but still give the people that are gonna take the risk anyway a chance to talk about it so others can learn from what they are doing wrong thats my point behind it ...ok enough, ill take the rest to PM

If it is done at a dragstrip, then what is the big deal? I pay for my truck, so if I want to run it up the dragstrip, then I will. Here is a whole forum devoted to truck performance www.performancetrucks.net . Here is the last truck I had
. I think some of the old farts need to get over this stuff.
