Download Garage Talk: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gara...964719306?mt=8[/QUOTE]
F150 Forum app is no longer supported. Yes, I know it's still being offered. I brought this to the attention of those that can have it removed from availability.

This is just dumb. Why not support the app that worked so well and make us resort to an app that just stinks. It doesn't take much to just tweak the code a little to get this to work with the new iOS. Just plain laziness I think. We can see how many members are complaining about this, why not try and please members that have been supporting this site for a long time. Garbage Talk is just downright awful compared to the old app.

Well, building the app was probably done through an off shore contractor or service, like russia, Eastern Europe or India. Then the contractor or service probably disappeared.
So getting it updated without the original raw code and docs is difficult.

Unlike hardware that gets old and goes end of life, software can just be tweaked over and over to be used with new operating systems. This is just plain laziness that they don't want to upgrade it for us.

They are. The new app is called Garage Talk and is available for all to use. It's meant as a one stop shop for all of Internet Brands' automotive forums. Please use that and stop calling the staff lazy because you disagree with their decision to change applications.

In order for the new App, "Garage Talk", to mesh w/ our Forum, & allow global updates/ improvements to all I.B. Automotive Forums (including ours) going forward, a modification to our Forum's base format itself was required.
Unfortunately, that pooched the pup, as far as full & proper function of the original F150 Forum App.
It is still available, yes. For that you can blame the Apple store, as although it's removal has been requested, they have yet to do so.

So when are the updates to this latest app coming. Cause it seems rather dull. As a paying Mbr do I have exclusive functions and features here? New to this app and so far not warming up to this. I'll give it a little more time. Another question. Was there an announcement about this amp becoming useless. I certainly didn't get one from apple.
Question 2: No
Question 3: Personally, I've been shouting from the rooftops here for members to switch to "Garage Talk" as soon as the F150 Forum App was compromised. Additionally, Ad nauseam throughout this Thread.
I cannot speak to how Apple handles there side of things, but to my knowledge, a request to the Apple store has been made to remove the F150 Forum App from availability, & it has yet to remove it.
