BLACKxOUT

I have a 96 F250 xlt with a 460 7.5 L... I was looking around the other day looking for a supercharger for my truck and came across a comment that someone made. They said instead of doing that since its rare to find a kit you can add hp by taking off the intake hose by the throttle and cutting out a V shaped plastic pieace and shaving it down to add noticable increase of hp. Does anyone know what he was talking about? If so it would be greatly appriciated if you could explain...
