Question 2007 F150 Xlt troubles

I purchased a used 2007 F150 xlt from a local dealership near me in the middle of november. within the first month i had to replace the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter and the transmission tube and dipstick due to idiots at the dealerships shop. All this happended within the first month. Which was covered under nys lemon law warranty. Since day one my truck has had problems shifting between 30-40 with overdrive off and 45-55 with the overdrive on. Was told that it was caused by a bad coil. i replaced the bad coil and it still shows a little misfire on the statistics on the computer. Ive been told by other ford drivers that it seems normal. Even changing the way I accelerate to see if it was that but it still seems to do it. It acts like it wants to shift but is struggling and it starts jolting back and forth and at that point i let off the gas and let it shift itself. It doesn't feel like a transmission problem just a misfire. Ive owned it for not even 4 months and had a handful of problems. does anyone else know what could cause the problem. Im just trying to figure out if I should invest my time and money into it. If its something that simple. At this point im just looking for answers or even help to see where i should go from here. Thank you all for your help or comments.

15k for an 07? Wow

But anyway. How many miles? Any maintenance history? And codes or check engine lights?

Many mistake a misfire with transmission problems. Which is what you probably have. Id go ahead and replace all of the plugs as well as the boots and springs on the coils.
Keep us updated. Good luck.

Not even a 30 day warranty from the dealership? I agree with the spark plug change and the COP boot/spring change though, plugs and the boots are not that much and hopefully that takes care of your issues. Good luck. Welcome to the site by the way.

Clean MAF, and throttle body. Put a new fuel filter in it. Then go tell your "dealership", thanks for the joke-of-a multi-point inspection that I'm sure they said they did.

So was there no warranty what-so-ever? All that in the first month at a "dealership" should have been covered.

there was a 30 day warranty. But of course after the 30 days things start happening. Thank you guys for helping. I am going to replace all the coils and spark plugs and go from there and hopefully that does it. I was told that that's a common problem. Anyone know how to not make it a common problem without replacing them every year? I also noticed some transmission fluid coming from the over flow tube. I did have the transmission tube along with the dipstick replaced. The tube was straight from the service center for my truck. but the stick came out of a 2003 f150. Does anyone know if you can use a trans dipstick from an 03 f150 on a 2007 f150. Im under the impression that the sticks differ from different years or atleast the tubes. When my mechanic checked the stick it was bare. so he tried putting more transmission fluid in it and it just pours straight out of the overflow so he thinks it could be much worse than it is. Could it just be the wrong size dipstick and were just over filling it? Please cut me some slack im new to here and im just trying to find answers or someone that has had similar problems. Thank you guys so much.

83, miles no maintenance history. The only codes that showed up after the check engine light was flashing was for a misfire. Replaced one coil that was going bad but still seems to still have a little misfire from that cylinder. Do you think it could be spark plugs too. I did have plans once winter is over to replace all the coils and the spark plugs. Thank you for your input!
