Default X plan pricing on end of year closeouts

Hey guys! I'm Kevin. I've been leaking around for a bit but just created an account. I have a 99' f150 ext. cab 4.6 and a 10' GT Prem. Mustang.

Looking to trade the stang' (thanks marriage.... ) and sell the 99'f150 and looking to buy 14' lariat. I am eligible for xplan pricing. Currently looking at a metallic white 14' lariat with the ecoboost., 502a, 4x2, 3.31 locking axle, bed liner, step, loaded... Current offer is 46,010 sale price. Giving $20000 for the stang (mint. 12600 miles. Still smells new). My question is: What kind of additional discount could I get when the 15's hit the lot considering I'm already on xplan? I have the perfect truck cornered and don't want to miss it if xplan is already close to bottom dollar even before 15's come online. All suggestions and comments welcomed and appreciated!

you will do far better on a 14 than a 15 until they have been out a while. I bought my 14 from a volume dealer here and actually beat the x-plan price by $500

Thanks for the reply! I'm just wondering if the deal on a 14' will be even sweeter when the 15's are on the lot? If xplan makes it as cheap now as a couple of months from now, I don't want to miss "the one".

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you. I have been kicking the idea if Iwant to get the 14 or 15. I can tell you that when you go to Ford and build and price the 2015 they are a bit more (as eveyone knows that already) so I'm dragging my feet until they hit the lots in December here in Houston to see what they can do for me.

I also made a better deal than the X-Plan provided for, one fact to consider is choice, don't wait too long so you won't be disappointed on what trucks are remaining on the lots.
