windshield wiper grille
most likely it has been discussed in this forum, but could not find it. anyone have idea of repair of the windshield wiper grille from popping up in the center. thought this was bad design, should of been one grille vs two separate grilles. 2008 XLT 5.4

Pop your hood and remove the rubber weather stripping from the middle and push the Cowl down in the middle and drive a screw in it...should of been one in there holding the 2 pieces together.

never thought about the screw. when the truck was new it was replaced by the dealership 3 times. wonder how much they got from ford for that, appears to be a racket exploiting a design oversight
