But if that's the case I would leave the 35% you have now up front and not mess with the rear. It's going to be near impossible to find something in between 25% and 35%. Especially when guessing and trying to layer over what's already there. If you were to put any shade of tint over the rear it would make it darker. No matter it be 75% 55% 45% etc. etc.
25% on the fronts is going to look pretty close to the factory rear doors but not exact. Late at night or on overcast days it will match but when sun hits it, it will def be lighter. But like I said it's going to be near impossible without spending lots of time and probably money to find something in between those shades.

You guys simply RULE. Period. Thank you so much for those pics. Man, those truck look good. You know what? SOLD. I will take it to my guy and specify 25% front and nothing but stock on the backs. Now, there were 2 reasons, FYI, I was considering tinting over factory in the back:
1) That day I saw my truck parked in the bright sun (with my current 35%), I couldn't tell that the stock back was even darker than the front. Front and back looked the same. Foolish question, but that was obv cuz the sun was shining right through the truck, I'm guessing? I was just thinking at that point, "man, i better tint the back too cuz even this 35% is the same as the stock back!"
2) When inside the truck, it bothers me that the colour of the front with 35 is different than the factory back... I'm talking "colour", not "darkness", if that makes sense. One of you said this drives you nuts too, but you also said it was a common issue, and my truck isn't the only one with this discrepency. Therefore, I figured that adding the same film, albeit a different %, make help with the colour matching. Is this correct?
Nontheless, my choice is 99% made... thanks to you guys. By going 25 suntek just on the fronts, I will accomplish what I was after since Post 1. I was so worried that the 25% may be DARKER than the stock backs, but I don't see how that can be possible lol. If you guys can all but guarantee me that the 25 will be lighter than the stock back, DONE. If it happens to looks like it matches on a dark, overcast day, NP AT ALL. I actually like that. The main thing is that the front will meter out much lighter than the rear privacy glass... and just like you said, will appear more lighter than the back on the brightest of days, and closer to matching on the darker days. THANKS SO MUCH!!

Frank is the one with all the pics and whatnot, but hey I'll take the compliment! Haha
Frank might be able to comment on the color difference, cause it seems like his shop or a friends does tinting(?). I certainly don't know enough about that, and other than going to a different brand of tint, I don't know what there is to do about it. As long as it isn't a very obvious difference, like I see on some cars that are almost green or some other strange color, I could probably live with it.

One more thing, as you guys know, my tinter will be removing the 35 that's on there now. Since I'm the most OCD guy you will find, is there anything like scatches and stuff that I should look out for. Is it a fairly straight forward process, removing tint?
And KMAC, you didn't guarantee me that 25 will indeed be a touch lighter than the STOCK back lol...
