why do you lift or lower?

Why I did it?
I'm older so I recall the Sport Truck craze of the late 80's/early 90's. People were even autocrossing/roadracing trucks back then.
Back in Feb I went out looking for a 1991 Chevy 454SS to buy and came back with a new 2014 tuxedo black regular cab with 5.0 Coyote and 355 LSD.
I have since lowered/leveled the rear with longer shackles/pinion angle block to complete that 90's Sport truck look I was after (front height is unchanged from stock). Still has about 1/2" rear rake. 32" tall tires are currently installed but someday will get something sportier.
I realize that I am in the minority with this look as everyone seems to want lifted trucks now, but I like it.
I also added Koni adjustable shocks to the rear and a larger diameter Helwig front swaybar so it handles quite nicely.
