Nice, Love all the Supra's. I wanted one similar to that one, or any v'drive set up but didnt want to pay out for it. Also not super into wake boarding and ended up getting an Yamaha AR230 last year. Hoping to get out more on it this year....Much more powerful and larger boat than my last as well.

I was intrigued with the reviews and the Ecoboost engines and I was at a point where I needed a new truck. Looked for a used one that wasn't too old that had a majority of what I wanted on a truck. It was hard to find one in my area, so I had to expand my search and found what I was looking for. Doesn't have every bell and whistle a lot of them have, but gave me a lot more than what I had.

There are some small things I wish I could have that would be more convenient, but sometimes you don't know that until you drive what you have.

Grew up around Fords. First Ford I remember was dad's 77 F100 Explorer edition.
Owned an 88 Ranger before I got my 07. Bought it for part need/ part want.

Yamaha's are great all-around, reliable, and easy to maintain boats. Excellent choice! I thought of one myself, but I wanted one especially for wakeboarding, so I went with a V-drive.

Good question with a variety of replies. For myself I wanted a very specific configuration; extended cab (not a full 4 door), 4x4, with a full 8' box. Ford out sells all other trucks so it was simply a numbers thing for me. I am not brand specific like many on this forum. This is my second Ford but would have no issue buying GM or Dodge if the right used truck turned up at the right time, at the right price, and setup the way I want it. Personally I think there are good trucks and bad ones and it is not specific on the badge on the front grill.

We needed a vehicle with a column shift and a bench seat (we have a physical particularity that makes driving something with a central console impossible). For years we bought sedans with bench seats (the Taurus long ago and then Buicks) and would be still but there are no more. The 2013 Impala was the last one (and we were not ready for a new car then) . That left us with what seemed like the unpleasant choice of either a Honda Odyssey, (cramped), a Chevy Suburban (gigantic and expensive and something we don't need), or a full sized Truck. Having said that, we were impressed by just how much room there is in the F150 and are looking forward to driving it (it's ordered). And I am also looking forward to never again worrying that what I bought at Home Depot (we work on our house ourselves a lot) will not fit in the Buicks.

Why ?
Because Ford is the only one with Heavy Duty Payload (mine is 2603 pounds ) and supercab WITH a 8 ft bed. Powerful, nice ride and a very nice tool.
