where to mount cb in f-150
I have a 2004 fx4 off road with councel in it. Where can I mount a cb? I also have a moon roof. I would love to have a cb again, but can't find a place to mount one. I also have aux braking system which is where I would normally mount a cb, but it is there on the right side of stearing wheel under dash.
Thanks for any ideas.

My advice is to mount your CB in a trash can and get your amatuer radio ticket and go 2 meters.... W7ITC
All kidding aside one of the best places to mount a CB or a 2 meter rig for that matter is on the roof directly back from the rear view mirror.

In consoled vehicles I mount mine on the passenger side of the console. My F150 doesn't have a console so my peaked and tuned Cobra 25 is mounted below the dash right in front of the gear stick. How big of a radio were you planning? Full sized or one of the mini jobs like a Cobra 19? Cobra 19's fit nicely between the seat and console instead of the side of the console. I've also made brackets to hang the radio over the console storage lip so the lid closes on it and holds it in place if your looking for a movable rig.

Here is a pic where mine is...but you have a full console so this doesn't really apply. Now it is a full sized radio and not the little cheapie Midland that barely worked for me.
