when i turn ignition on, wiper&motor goes on for 10 sec then it stops by itself????

Default when i turn ignition on, wiper&motor goes on for 10 sec then it stops by itself????
my 2004 F150 XLT, when i turn ignition on, wiper&motor goes on for 10 sec then it stops by itself????
do you guys have any clue, what could be a problem?

it sounds like there is a problem with the multi function switch on the column..
