2004 F-150 heritage

HOw possible is it to put a 5.4 L in place of a 4.2 v6? I may do this. Depends on pricing.. I know I'll need a new tranny.. What else do I need and the prices ? Possibly 4wd. Anyone done this?

Sounds easier to buy a new truck! Lol lots of work but anything is possible.

Yeah I'm sure it will be. I'm also thinking about buying a rolled truck or something where the cab and bed and body is just destroyed. Then throwing my body on there.. But you gotta find one with a good quality sh*t. Or else more problems down the road..
