It's to run the A.C. when you're not in the truck to keep it cool on a hot day.

Stop messing with the guy and tell the truth.

That is electric start. If you have a dead battery you just plug in an extension cord and you can start the truck. No need to call a friend or road side service for a boost.

Well if you got the work truck option the power can also go the other way. Start up your truck, flip the switch, and plug in your weed eater...
