If you use a good "top tier" gas you shouldn't need any additives.
Sorry, that didn't really answer your question.

I recently sold my transportation business. We generally had a fleet of 15 Ford E-350 Vans. Each Van would be replaced at aprox. 400,000 miles. From the time I started the business til the sale we have estimated total mileage at around fifteen million miles.

Never used an additive and never had a fuel issue in any way that an additive would have supposedly helped.

Save your money.

I have 2 stations to choose from on my commute to work......both Caseys General stores. One has just 87 with ethanol, the other 87, 89 and 91. The 91 has no ethanol. So my only choice with the tune I run is 91. So basically I have one option. No "top tier" choice, whatever that may mean. I run a bottle of Techron every other oil change.

Techron is a good product. Whether or not you need it is another question, answer depending upon your particular driving situation. I get my gas primarily from either the Speedway or Racetrack by my house. Both sell lots of fuel, so I doubt it sits in the tanks long. I run a bottle of Techron through my cars every 3 or 4 oil changes. Cheap insurance or a waste? At $5 a bottle, I'll roll the dice.

I don't know if it's more of a placebo or if it actually works. Either way, it's cheap and doesn't hurt....why not.
I favor techron over the 3 I listed thoguh
