I didn't like the toyota and wouldn't be caught dead in a nissan. So i thought i'd check out the ford. Holy ****, i've been a friggin dumbass! One 13' 5.0 screw later and i couldn't be happier. Why didn't i give ford a shot sooner? Comfort, looks, power and 20k miles down without a hiccup. Besides mpg is sitting at 19.4. This is by far the best vehicle i have ever owned. I'll give you one guess what my next vehicle is going to be.
ford!!!

Owned a couple of GMC's in the past. I liked them but they weren't very well built.
Had a 98 F150 that was trouble-free but like an idiot I traded it in on something else.
Anyway,I love my present F150. I learned my lesson. Ford from now on!

The EB drivetrain is pretty much the reason I own a Ford now. I don't have a brand preference, but I've happened to own GM's mostly over the last 10 yrs. Not because they were Chevys, but because we liked the Suburban over the Expy and the Duramax/Allison over the PSD and Dodge Cummins options.

First drive in a EB I knew it would be my next truck. I love the torque and how it all comes in at low rpms, kinda like a diesel. Much nicer for overall driving and particularly towing. We have loved our current and prior Suburbans, which have been great, comfortable, and 100% reliable. But unless GM comes out with a comparable drivetrain (perhaps the 4.5 Duramax?), we will most likely replace our '10 Suburban w/ an Expy EL Ecoboost in a year or 2 (provided my wife approves of the vehicle, of course!).

So, we'll be from an all Chevy driveway last year to an all Ford one in a couple years mostly because of the Ecoboost.

I owned a 2011 GMC Sierra. It was good truck but it had some minor things which constantly bugged me, low ground clearance being a big one. In fact I almost bought a F150 when I was originally truck shopping but the Ford dealer was a dink. I had the Sierra for 2.5 years, but it was getting to the point where it was still good but slowly irritating me.

When I test drove a Ford, I was impressed and after a week of owning it, I'm even more impressed. Enormous back seat, lots of ground clearance especially with the leveling kit, next to no wind noise at highway speeds, smooth ride, great handling, loads of power and good fuel economy.

I think I found the truck I'll keep for a long time.

I bought a CrownVic in 05' and it will not quit. Has 157K and has been totally trouble free. So.........on July 9th I bought a 2014 F150 STX short bed with the 3.7 and a 2014 Focus SE. I am very pleased with both and I still got the Vic. I drive the Vic everyday and the F150 has been taken over by the wife. The Focus is sort of an everybody car.
For 27 years I was a GM fan. They took the bailout and I bailed out. 'Nuff said bout my politics.

I've owned all American and several foreign brands.
My first drive was a 1946 Ford sedan in 1961.
Currently have a 2004 XLT and a 2010 Taurus SHO.
Both of these are excellent vehicles. Both also get better than advertised MPG.
Until the 2010 Taurus came out, I was about to buy a Honda or a Lexus as Ford just didn't seem to have a car that fit my interest.
Sure glad they made the redesign and also the new version SHO.

I have driven all brands including Studebaker and International;Ford has treated me the best. Well, and you can't buy Studebaker and International any more.

My F-150 is so great!
Its comfort is superbly the best vehicle I have owned. It gets 800 miles per tank. It handles 4 big luggage bags in the back seat. I'm usually a Chevy guy. But this truck shaded my opinion. It pulls my boat and jet skis. Only thing I'm changing is I'm gonna get rhino liner in the bed. Over a great performance.
