Well it's a completely mixed match engine to be honest. That's just how we got it when we bought it. The block is from a 70 the heads from a 68 intake manifold from a 65. Someone obviously slapped it all together

That's pretty common in that older motors, the 68 heads flow far better than the 70. Probably why they used those

Yeah I have a feeling some wrecked this car early on though as I can tell some of the body panels in the front weren't original as we'll such as the fenders and hood. Also it's a 1967 but when we got it the thing has 68 GT rims 68 gas cap and a few other things from 68. But the vin reads a 67

I've worked on lots of early mustangs over the years and its always funny to see what people did back then. People weren't thinking oh gotta keep everything original, so they'd modify or fix or repair with non correct parts. But also there are lots of carry over parts from the factory. All part of the coolness, not saying those parts are but if you start running date codes you can find cool stuff

Yeah it's crazy what some people did to these things back then I wish I could go back and see exactly what happened to the car, but hey as long at runs and drives fine now that's what in concerned about haha.

We buy ford because I drove them growing up. As in with I was like 10 I drove them on the farm and my dad also buys them so that's why I got mine. He passed it down to my brother then to me.
