Idk I spent alot of time around and building these old mustangs so it specifically pissed me off
Hammond is the one who usually is cool about american cars usually tho. Actually to be honest i think they like ford more than any other american brand.

The gt500's are all underrated power wise every year. Im pretty sure 450 or so to the wheels is actually more than 500 brake, but, you can't make an american car look good there i guess. I wish they'd review the boss 302 laguna seca. Wonder whatd they say bout a 45k car ****tin on their m3's

People freak about live axle, with the right driver a love axle can be awesome on the track an can put awesome power down, problem is most of us aren't at that level haha

Ford has the live rear axel designed so good. I can understand feelin the bumps in the road more, but they make it seem like the steering wheel is locked from the factory

Yea true, but ford isn't sandbagging as bad as they were back in the boss 9 days haha. They'd cry like hell, I like top gear I think it's entertaining I just wish they'd be more objective when they review American cars an quit with the bias, they say some funny stuff bout the American cars but it gets old. I laughed so hard when they constantly rag on American stuff an back in 05 Jeremy bought a ford gt over any other car he could've bought , enough said haha

True, it's still priceless though when they test a corvette an it smashes all their stuff for like 100 grand less haha

Dealer friend of mine let me go out in the RS5 and the R8 V10 with him. They are truly incredible vehicles...

Now I'm not gonna try and say that the Shelby's aren't fast. But for me the car is about more than fast. I could have gone with a Ram with the big Hemi, but I chose the Ford because it drives better. You get my point. I give more weight to refinement and ride than just pure speed. But that's the beauty of the automotive industry. THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES!!!!!

They made it seem like ford lied about it.

I remember that now.... Well I guess it was partly for the entertainment value... There are a lot of Americans that watch the show, but their main market is still in Europe so I guess it's all about audience.

Yeah i guess so. But seriously the 2013 and 2014 shelbys are complete different animals than the 2012. They may not have the refinement of some european cars, but they can spank most cars anywhere near theyre price range. The cars that do have its performance numbers cost much much more. And its a muscle car, when have they ever been about refinement lol. But like you said, theres lots of choices to fit everyones tastes

Again that goes back to the car being about more than speed. That'll be their argument.

Still wouldn't buy a corvette. Ever. Not a fan of the plastic-fantastic body and interior.... Still a hella fast car though!
