I agree, honestly they seemed ignorant as hell about the mustang, the gt-350 and gt-500 names don't have anything to do with their power ratings, i kept getting pisses off by Hammond saying my gt 390, it's not called a gt 390 it's a freaking gt with a 390. Idk I spent alot of time around and building these old mustangs so it specifically pissed me off

Thr regular 5.0 mustang gt is like barely behind the m3 on at laguna seca and even when it comes to straight line, the 2013 shelby is a whole different machine the 2012's and below. Yes it has a solid rear axle, but it handles a **** ton better than people make it out to be. 911 is a whole different story and much more expensive too.

Ford has the live rear axel designed so good. I can understand feelin the bumps in the road more, but they make it seem like the steering wheel is locked from the factory

The gt500's are all underrated power wise every year. Im pretty sure 450 or so to the wheels is actually more than 500 brake, but, you can't make an american car look good there i guess. I wish they'd review the boss 302 laguna seca. Wonder whatd they say bout a 45k car ****tin on their m3's

Dealer friend of mine let me go out in the RS5 and the R8 V10 with him. They are truly incredible vehicles...
Now I'm not gonna try and say that the Shelby's aren't fast. But for me the car is about more than fast. I could have gone with a Ram with the big Hemi, but I chose the Ford because it drives better. You get my point. I give more weight to refinement and ride than just pure speed. But that's the beauty of the automotive industry. THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES!!!!!
Na what im talking about is the ho thing they did. They reviewed the 2010 shelby and very specifically said it was 500 brake horsepower, Which is horsepower at the crank, they brought a dyno in to test it, measured 450 or something and didnt distinguish that 450 at the wheels is at least 500 brake. They made it seem like ford lied about it.
I remember that now.... Well I guess it was partly for the entertainment value... There are a lot of Americans that watch the show, but their main market is still in Europe so I guess it's all about audience.

Still wouldn't buy a corvette. Ever. Not a fan of the plastic-fantastic body and interior.... Still a hella fast car though!
