"The last time I saw plastics like this, it contained TicTacs......" hahahahaahha Richard Hammond on the topic of the Cadillac CTS interior. I think he makes my point very well about the ridiculous price tag of any Cadillac.

Uk top gear is way better than us top gear entertainment wise, sometimes tho, they're too biased against american cars, especially that bs with 2010 shelby

Have you driven both a 2010 Shelby and say an M3 or a 911?
My opinion, the Shelby is more fun, but an M3 or a 911 is faster and more refined. If I had the cash I'd buy like an Audi RS5 rather than a Shelby for $25,000 less. I'd be much happier with the Audi. But that's purely an opinion.
Still would love to have a Shelby though!

The Shelby is a great straight line machine but anyone who says it would be as good as an M3 or 911 in the corners is just plain ignorant. Those are the people who have never driven a 911..I have and they are AMAZING. The S5 handles great too.

Drove Fords since 1966. Had a few Dodges that I would rather forget about. Bought a 1992 Ranger, drove it until 2003. Bought a rcab 2003 Ranger Edge in 2003. Put 112K in it with no major problems. Since I retired, started looking for another truck. They quit making Rangers, so I started looking at 2013 F 150's on the internet. Took about 6 months looking every day till I found what I wanted. Sent an email to the dealer. Got a phone call about 15 minutes later. Told him I had the Ford friends and family discount plus $1500 Ranger discount. Called me back with a price, less that 27K out the door. Asked the saleman when he would be there, This was on a Sunday. He said Tuesday morning, told him I would be there at 9am. Test drove the truck and bought it took about an hour.
2013 Ford F 150. Tuxedo black. STX 4X4 5.0 rcab. Great driving truck, 1st automatic I ever bought for myself. Has a 3.55 rear end. Get about 19 mpg around town, 23 mph on the highway. Have a little over 5K on it without a single problem.

What year Shelby and mustangs are you talking? Cause just the mustang gt put up a better lap time at Laguna than a m3 and a boss blew it out of the water.

Na what im talking about is the ho thing they did. They reviewed the 2010 shelby and very specifically said it was 500 brake horsepower, Which is horsepower at the crank, they brought a dyno in to test it, measured 450 or something and didnt distinguish that 450 at the wheels is at least 500 brake. They made it seem like ford lied about it.

I agree, honestly they seemed ignorant as hell about the mustang, the gt-350 and gt-500 names don't have anything to do with their power ratings, i kept getting pisses off by Hammond saying my gt 390, it's not called a gt 390 it's a freaking gt with a 390. Idk I spent alot of time around and building these old mustangs so it specifically pissed me off

Thr regular 5.0 mustang gt is like barely behind the m3 on at laguna seca and even when it comes to straight line, the 2013 shelby is a whole different machine the 2012's and below. Yes it has a solid rear axle, but it handles a **** ton better than people make it out to be. 911 is a whole different story and much more expensive too.
