Default What is This Light Blue Cable?

I found it behind the wheel well while replacing my starter. The cable itsself is light blue (pastel looking now, though could be faded).
All right. I've got a cable & it's broken & I have no idea what it does. I came across it while troubleshooting a no start issue (replacing starter). The cable is light blue & actually runs (behind the wheel well) the same course (to a degree) as the positive battery line & stuff from batter to starter. When I trace it up, it seems to terminate at a little thingy w/ some other wires going into it in the back (firewall) passenger side of engine bay.
Can anyone please help me figure out what this thing is?

Can you get better pictures of where it comes from and to?

Why do you have a duel battery setup? If I was to guess it is a remote wire so a sound system or something.
