I was wondering how that was gonna work out for ya!

Factory stock BMW/Audi/Volvo HID systems usually run about 4300k (whiteish blue) and 6000k is more Lexus/Acura like. Some people run 8000k systems wich IMHO are too blue but still offer decent lighting. 10,000k is just obscene and has no need to be in vehicles.

As far as where to get them... Ebay is where I got both of mine. No complaints so far. You can tell by the seller's page the quality of their product.

Yes. After putting in the 6000k units in my wife's car, I wish I had installed the 4300 kit. It is alright, but a little too blue. Myself, when I install a kit like this I go for visibility improvement, not so much looks. The look is an added bonus but I do not want to have my headlights looking as blue as a neon Bud Lite sign.

I can actually find a pic of the 6000k kit so you can guage how it looks. I will search another website for it. Give me a couple minutes.

OK well these pics look whiter than they actually are, but you get the idea. Sorry for the glare off my running board in the first one.

Yeah, you order based off of what bulb you are running already. If you have the stock bulbs, you will need to look for BI-XENON lights wich should run you approx $150-200 or so otherwise you will have no high beams.

As for the brightness... Yes, 4300k will look brighter since the light is more pure white. 35w is the only brightness (I am pretty sure) they come in.

Retro-solutions makes some very good one's, search google for discount pages on other forums.

Stay away from Xentec's, seems like every other person has problems with them, included a friend of mine.
