Default Why is my door full of water?

OK so the last couple of times it has rained my wife's 2010 expedition rear drivers door has water in it. You can hear it sloshing around in there and see it dripping out of the pinch weld around the bottom. Is there a drain that's clogged or should I drill a small hole in the bottom or what? Anyone ever felt with this? Any input appreciated.

There should be several drains along the bottom of the door, look behind the rubber seal and make sure they're all clear.

When you say behind the seal. You mean actually peel the seal back and they are under it?

No, the drains are built into the sheet metal when it's pressed into shape, look under the door straight up you will see small gaps, those are the drain slots.

You can see the drains from under the door. Little holes or slots. Take something and push the hole open. It won't take much. Probably got some debris in there (leaves) and you'll have to repeat this until they can rot away.

Or you can take the panel insert off, fairly easy. Then scoop out the crap

That would be the best way to cure the problem, then you need to see how the stuff is getting in and take care of that issue, if not, you risk damage to electric motors/electronics and rust issues.
