Yes, I know the ceiling is dated looking. But I had it, and I'm a cheapskate, so I used it.

Will be gun room, reloading work bench and other assorted manly stuff.
What is the point of putting the safe on blocks like that?

Came like that so they could use a fork lift. I left them on and added 2 more, my basement has had water in it a couple times and that is just some added insurance keeping it off the ground a few more inches. I will be adding some trim around the bottom to hide the nasty 4x4's and make it look a little nicer.

Here in the great state of Texas, it is in fact ILLEGAL to not have your front license plate displayed, but there is currently NO PUNISHMENT for the infraction thanks to the revised statute/legislature.. Since I have my CCL, don't transport narcotics or drive drunk, I don't mind being pulled over for a non-punishable/non-enforced law.. If I happen to catch grief over it, I carry my plate under my backseat and will gladly comply if asked.)

Before and After Picture.. Whatcha think?
Got stopped several years back by the local yokel. He told me I didn't have a front plate. I paused a minute and told him, ''"Funny, my motorcycles don't have one either."

He just looked stunned and said, "Have a nice day." then drove off.

Water and wood under heavy safe= disaster, You might want to put something under it that won't rot. Brick comes to mind.

Did a full in/out cleaning over the weekend. After a month of fairly steady rain there was a lot of film on it. Took 4.5 hours just to clean it.

We had two nice thunderstorms Saturday night and after a quick cleaning again Sunday morning, decided to wax it up.

I used Turtle Wax Ice and was pretty impressed with it. It did a nice job on the exterior rubber and took about 2.5 hours to do the whole truck.
I found that you need more than a few microfibres clothes though to keep the streaking down. But all in all, very happy with it the result.

First pic, after yesterday's cleaning and second was after the waxing.
