What did did you and your truck do today??
Ruined a one of my Terra Grapplers today. I was driving along the Interstate, heading over to Daytona Beach for the weekend, and the tire pressure sensor starts flashing. The truck starts wobbling and my right rear tire is flat before I can even get slowed down and pulled off on the shoulder.
This is a photo of a 4" or 5" piece of 3/8" tubing that went right through the tire. The tire had strands of steel poking out of the hole when the guy pulled the tubing out of the tire.
Anyway, got the spare on and limped back home. I called North Tampa 4x4 late in the afternoon (Friday) and they ordered me a new tire for install tomorrow morning.

Drove by the Ford dealership in town and discovered it has been bought out by the guy that owns the Chevy dealership a few blocks down... So I stopped in to schedule an oil change and see what was up. Not sure if it's good or bad yet, but all the old staff is gone. Kept no one.

It is good. I couldn't wait to get out of the place I worked at. I learned a lot in the 3 years I worked there. The fact is though I was as far as I was going to go at this shop and the place treats its employees like dogs I have seen so many people come and go from this place that its not even funny ( i guess it kind of was funny because I knew why). I was the 3rd person to quit last week in a shop that only employs 6 besides the actual owner.
