Used the 2005 lariat to rescue a 2001 plain Jane from a horrible rusting death. Now I just have to see if I can switch everything from the 2001 lariat to the plain 1

Made two trips to the hardware stores for loads of attic insulation, ductwork, and plywood. I don't know about the truck but I am very sore this evening.

Took the inside panel off the driver's door and got the speaker working again. Had a loose wire.

The crashed lariat donated it's front rotors, pads, driveshaft, instrument cluster, a couple fuses and it's snow bear mounts to the plain Jane that just joined the clan

These are SO hard to find! My husband has one (a super ugly one!) sitting around our place. It's a shortbed though, which is apparently even harder to come by, since for about 15 years he has been looking and still hasn't found a "mint" bed to replace the old one. If I could drag the thing away without him noticing it would be gone. But then what would we do with the 400 engine that is built on a stand in the basement...coffee table??

Good thought. I'd rather donate the rest of the ugly truck
