Got my truck back from the dealer service yesterday. Had a hole in the exhaust manifold, O2 sensor malfunction, and a leaking rear diff cover. They had the truck for a week.
Drove to work today and the check engine light came back on. Guess its going back Monday...
Man what a bummer !..... hope they fix it faster this time !
The exhaust manifold was a replacement and had about 20k miles on it.
The rear diff was completely rebuilt in April this year.
I don't have rental coverage on my ESP, so now I get to rent another car for who knows how long. Its getting too cold and unsafe to drive my summer car.
Drove her the 45km to dads place to do his rear brakes.
Dads 66 now, so getting down on his knees in the driveway isn't fun anymore. It was also easier for me since I just did my brakes last summer, I knew what to expect after I pulled his wheels off.
Detailed my truck on Saturday using Chadwick's Triple Play. Awesome stuff. Not cheap, but awesome. The pics really don't do it justice since the sun was already starting to go down.
love the triple play. Did mine a few weeks ago, it's well worth it.
