Last weekend was Victoria Day for us Canadians, and is traditionally the start of summer up here in the Great White North. It's also when most people start planting flowers and vegetable gardens, and when seasonal trailer parks open. I was lucky enough to have four days off, so I headed up to our trailer on thursday night to get the water on. On friday morning I headed into town for some odds and ends to finish up a couple projects before The Wife came up on friday night. One of those projects was a yard of Triple Mix from the local garden suppy.

The other project I managed to tackle was changing out my last two parking lamps for LED's.

Installed my Rigid Dually's finally. Tightening them up later once it gets dark so I can attempt to aim them correctly. Install wasn't very fun, glad it's over.

Drove over to Alpena to do my weekly grocery run, and stopped at Home Despot to buy some electrical stuff. When I was walking back to the truck, I noticed a 15/16 Scab driving around it very slowly, looking it over. The guy saw me coming, and just drove off. Crap, I didn't know I looked that mean!! LOL

I don't know really, but I'd have talked to him if he hadn't driven off.

Well, it's a good thing he didn't steal that nice red truck, whether he wanted to or not!

If I put that work into a truck, I wouldn't be so much worried about the insurance as losing the truck!

I'd really like to think he was looking at ideas for his. His was a stock, very clean truck, but now that I'm thinking about, maybe an alarm system should be bought. I do worry when I'm downstate at me wife's house, the area, actually that whole end of the state, isn't exactly crime free. Every morning I get up, I look outside to see if my baby is still safe. Up here, I'm not overly concerned. Crap, I can honestly say, there aren't many that even lock their houses up, and most leave their keys in the ignition, unless they're in a larger town, like Alpena. LOL
