Backed the truck up to the garage and loaded up a bathroom vanity to return that was bought about 5 weeks a go by the significant other in an attempt to start a re model of a room that doesn't need it. Never took it out of the box.

Received a refund of $279 which was the sale price when purchased. Was told they had just sold the last one because it was part of their Black Friday blow out sale and it wouldn't last long.

Turned around and re purchased it for $50, loaded it back up and brought it home.

Guess I'll be buying a new faucet tomorrow.

You said a level is a unnecessary mod. I said in rebuttal, any mod could be considered unnecessary. Whats hard to understand there?

Not a thing. I agree with you. a level is unnessecary, but that doesn't equal stating that any other mod is necessary either. And none are.

So we should all drive trucks straight off the lot and not make any mods? Or when we buy a used truck, dont change a single thing on it to suit our needs or style?

That's not what I said. I've done plenty of stuff to trucks I didnt have to. All I more or less said was I'm not personally in a hurry to tear apart the front end on an older truck unless I have to, due to the risk of issues arising.

Sounds like you have no idea what you're doing so I would just buy the nicer parts and drop it off to shop and let a pro with proper tools do the job.
Sounds like you're pretty judgemental. The guy helping me was a certified mechanic. We used plenty of PB Blaster. Only thing he didn't have was a proper heat source to loosen bolts. The truck has been a Michigan/Chicago truck it's entire life and these suspension components are original. So I'm sorry that they are so rusted in that a bolt sheared off. I didn't realize that made me incapable of working on my truck. Also, I don't know how a bad upper ball joint and UCA is me not knowing what I'm doing.

Rather than being critical of what happened, why don't you give some real advice. I've got other words I want to say, but being that I respect members of the forum I won't say them here.
