I adjusted my Bakflip VP today when I installed bed lights (pictures to come). The clamps from Bak suck! They hit the box liner and are very difficult to get tight.

I trimmed the rails rather than the liner when I put mine on last spring. Probably could have gotten by with a BFH rather than trimming but all turned out well.

I'm not a fan of their aluminum clamps, as you mention, they do hit the sidewalls of the bed. In the end, the cover is going to work out just fine, but they can re-design those clamps for their future customers.

Did not wash it. Did not remove the tonneau and remount the cap. Did not remove my running boards to mod some steps. Only looked at it as I walked by to get in the Ranger to go get my weekly groceries. Crappy weather.

That's a decent load of wood but no way that's more than a cord. 4x4x8, I don't think so.

I wound up putting a Flowmaster 40 Series in place of the Roush muffler, and putting the Roush in the location of the stock resonator, all that to get the noise level [drone] down to where I could stand to drive it. Thanks for the reply.

I have "true dual" 2.75 pipes with Flo-Pro dual entry dual exit. Cat back with resonators and it's loud at WOT. No "y" pipe and the muffler is a straight through muffler. And it exits into a "four pipe" set of tips
