We're trying to find a box for a Raptor grill I'm selling. Most entertaining offer on the grill so far was 4 Honda Civic rims, $175 cash and a complete collection of Garbage Pail Kids.

Seriously, you can't make that up.

If you lived locally I'd sell you my STX Sport grill and you would have a box to ship your Raptor grill in. But I don't have a shipping account so it would cost me an arm and a leg to ship it from here. So I'm going to try to sell it locally.

Oversize charges are a pain indeed. I shipped a 2008 super duty grill, and the guy used his shipping account. Even with that, oversized killed it with shipping being about $115-$120. And that was the cheapest around. USPS was about $130-$135.

If I weren't currently obsessed with getting downpipes I'd buy that grill, i love that one.

Why is shipping so much? I shipped the visor from my obs from Colorado all the way to Louisiana for $60 and it was in a box that was 6' long about 2' wide and 6" tall through UPS.

Dunno, but UPS was $140. All I know that it was expensive... and was glad I didn't have to foot the bill!

It may have been the fact it was going from south Carolina to California though...

Replaced both u joints on the rear drivehaft over the past two days. Taking out the out the old ones was a b*tch and putting the new ones in was a breeze up until I bent a needle bearing. F#*K!!!
