Finished the day by changing the plugs, coil packs, and fuel filter. Cleaned the air cleaner and throttle body while it was all removed.
Would have taken 2 hours except 4 of the plugs broke. Wisely I had bought the plug removal tool.... instead of 2 hours it turned into 5! Okay so there was a lot of BS going on..
New energy for the girl...
Daylight when we started
Second plug into the change...just the lower 1/2 casing separated
5th plug, lower 1/2 again casing...
7th plug the hole lower 1/2...when this happened the nut and threads ride up on the porcelain and we had to use needle nose pliers to pull the upper 1/2
8th plug...same as 7. the 7th and 8th plug were the two on the rear passenger side, the hardest plugs to reach...
239k and not a drip or leak anywhere on this engine.

It's a mod to the reflectors on the front of the door mirrors, that makes them turn signals. They flash in tandem with the LEDS on the back of the mirror. I'll see if I can't find a link for you.
Here you go, LED Mirror Mod
It's a few pages long, but I like the outcome. I used a 6 LED amber strip I picked up at AZ, and soldered the wires together. My soldering gun has a neat little flat attachment that I used instead of a utility knife to cut the slot for the strip to fit in.
I've gotten a few looks from other 150 owners on this when I've been downstate, but no comments. Of course most down there are afraid to even look at anyone else!!LOL

No problem! That was the first mod I did to my 150. Since then, Recon, I think, has come out with smoked lens for those reflectors, and possibly have the turn signal LEDs already installed. Seems I saw somewhere that someone had.

OR the other option. Anzo turn signals.

Cool! I like the smoked better than mine, but I still like having 6 LEDs like the ones on the back have. I thought about smoking mine with some nightshade, but I don't care for the finish you get with it even after clearcoating. Think I'll take a peak at those Anzos.
Wow, I just read all 19 pages of that thread!!!!! Think I'll just stay with what I've done. I did that mod with the AZ LEDs almost 2 years ago, and zero problems. I would like to have other than the orange lens though.
