I say go ahead and drill. It's your truck. And it's your cover so...

Yesterday (not today) me and the truck reinforced the fork mounts by adding a piece of 3/16 steel painted to match the cover. Changed out the screws to 1/4"x1.5" bolts with big washers for support.

At the bottom of each fork mount I added a 14 gauge piece of flat stock 4"x6" with the respective two washers and a nylon self locking nut.

Now the bikes are nice and sturdy no movement.

I like how your trailer has the graphics removed. Did it come like that?

I can never seem to remember to put my truck on when I do something to it, but before I came out to work, I re-routed some of the wiring for my lights and then forgot to take a picture. You can't see the wires from the front now. Hopefully I can remember when I get back to the heliport to snap a picture to show it off...

Took it up to the dealer today. Having a 2" spacer installed, frontend alignment, headlight reaim done. $250, including parts. Also got a 2011 XLT Lariat Screw 5.0 for a loaner. I've never driven a car with heated/cooled seats before. I tried them on cool, really didn't like it, it felt perverted or something, sorta like those gel filled seat pads!!! Almost felt like I was being sexually assaulted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnday (I mean no offense) but dude you made me laugh so hard good thing I'm driving by my self. I could just picture you (even tho I have no clue what you look like) getting all bothered by the cooling seats.

We love them in Canada too, eh? They remind us of how refreshing it is to sit on a snowbank!

My dad, son and best friend have been up here in South Carolina using my F150 to work on our property the last few days.
