If you are headed back to NAPA, buy a pack of 1500 wet/dry and a pack of 2000 wet/dry and see if they have Meguiars mirror glaze polish. It will save a trip to walmart.

It feels great!
But I still have the chrome in the head and fog light buckets. Too cheap for retros so ill hafta live with it.
Going to get a quote on brow tint and gloss vinyl for my 6 bar grill tomorrow.

Went to Calico Fort and just as I got home the Drive Belt took a dump , so tomorrow it's my Chevvy Cobalt for work and finish off putting the belt on the truck :-)

I've got 1500 & 2000 wet 'r dry here, so when I hit NAPA later today I'll pick up some rattle can clear and some Meguiars mirror glaze polish. Need new wiper blades for the F-150, and they have hub seals waiting for me there for an old 16' boat trailer I'm rebuilding to hold a '47 Old town canoe I'm restoring. I also need a new wet sanding pad, can't find my old one. I use Holey Terror for wet sanding, great product.

That paint I sprayed on is single stage, so it can be wet sanded, but according to NAPA, will lose the shine unless it's clear coated.

Thanks for the tips!

Frank

I made this cheat sheet for some of my specs so I'd have it with me on my phone for when I need or want it..
