Yeah, it's pricey but I'd rather pay it now than later when something breaks.

Yeah exactly, I have no problems paying money when I know the truck will be solid after.

I been thinking about changing plugs, but worry about blow out. That seems to usually be when it happens, right after they're changed. Special inserts to prevent that are pricey and touchy to do with the heads on the motor. On the other hand, I've read about folks who say just double the torque setting from 13 to 26. The other thing holding me back is folks say ya should replace the coils at the same time, at least for my '01. Man o man, they're pricey too.

I've only had my truck a month, but already fixed an exhaust leak with shorty headers. Today it's new brakes all around, then new lower ball joints & alignment.

If I was having a dealer do plugs, I'd sure want assurance that if there was ever a blow out, they'd deal with it.

Good luck!

Frank

Yeah it is pricey but with my extended warranty I have to have all work done by a Ford dealership so I am stuck lol otherwise I would just do it all myself.

Got new upper and lower balljoints and a new left hub assembly parked beside grandpas 07 think I need to work on clearing up those headlights again.

You'll be surprised how much better the truck will look with clear, shiny headlights. Take the pic before and after just to remind yourself how much better ist is.
