Yes, it will throw codes. P0420 for bank 1 and P0430 for bank 2. You used to be able to buy MIL eliminators pretty cheap, they are hard to come by now because of the government. They just plug in to the downstream O2 sensor connector and make it so the computer thinks all is well. Every Mustang web site used to sell them, not anymore. Also, they go bad frequently. You can have the rear O2's shut off if you have your truck tuned, but yes it will throw codes. Unless it runs rich I wouldn't think it'll backfire without a cat, I personally have never had that happen. I had no cats on my 88 GT, 03 Procharged GT, and 02 Saleen S281. Makes it a bit louder, but no feelable performance gains. I wouldn't do it again if I were to have another Mustang

damn looks nice, I have been wanting to do mine - got a quote for $85.00 a tire for 17" rims.

I'm kind of torn if I want to do that or if I want to put some 20's on there next year and I will get them powdered black or just get some black rims. I may plastidip what I got and graduate to bigger nicer things next year

I will just be gutting the drivers side, I think it I the rear cat but not for sure on that part. I was kinda curious if the gotts o2 mod would make it not throw codes

Thanks. They did these for $60 a wheel, I was happy with that.
