Took a screw out of a tire and tried putting a plug in the hole. It's too close to the sidewall though. :/ I'll be riding on the spare until I get done with work in the oil field. I've been wanting black rims... just not this way, and only one. lol

Got my Sweetheart washed. Time to cruise with the windows down and the radio up.

About to hit a junk yard to pick up some things. Goal is to have the truck on the road by next next week and to have everything done, including paint,by October.

Default Truck Field Day

As the rains started last night, I was glad I took the time for the following:

Washed the truck with Dawn dish soap.

Clay bar, wash, dry and 2 coats of Zaino.

Yesterday was clear and about 80 degrees...Perfect! Started at 9:00 am and finished up at 7:30 pm.

Truxedo rolling Tonneau, bug shield, wind deflectors, and new square tube black running boards.

Picked up a billet grill from here that's on the way. Trying to talk myself into some 20" black rims and maybe a little less aggressive tires ( Cooper Discoverer MAXX look great, but not sure how long they will last, and I do mostly road driving )

Lost bid for the blacked out head and tail lights, so have to watch for an affordable combo again ( not looking to go HID, just want plug and play housings for my existing lights )

Found some surface rust on the lower edge and corners on the body, my plasti-dip the rockers project may have just become bedarmor the rockers after some prep. I still want to paint the black on the tailgate though.

Got a guy quoting me for a graphic on either the sides or the tailgate. Lots of ideas, and directions, I need to pick one and stick with it.
