(1) What did you and your truck do today?

Here's what I DIDN'T do to my truck today: vinyl wrap the air vent rings because I got all the way to where I was going for the weekend, pulled off the first ring, then realized I forgot the wrap. Oh well... Maybe Monday when I get home.

Got my Recon 3rd brakelight yesterday, and installed it today. Looks better than the stock chrome one, but,,,,,,,,,,
Really wanted to find a way to disassemble the stocker, and paint the reflector black, and install an LED for the light. But I broke the one I got from another member, and scrapped the idea.
Like others have said, the cargo lights are pretty dim. Doesn't bother me, since I always remove the cargo light bulbs anyway. I'm just that way, I guess.

Looks good! I like mine, but as you said, the light output is pretty weak. I just keep a headlamp in my truck as a result lol. Either way, it just cleans up the look. Hated the chrome, and all the threads I saw about the leaks and stuff kind of gave me a legit reason to buy it Gasket was almost non-existent when I pulled mine off. No issues with the Recon though!
One thing Recon recommended, was to take silicone sealant, [RTV], and lay a bead on the seal, and in the screw holes to seal them.

Looks good without them. I had mine off for awhile, but my wife whined about having a hard time climbing in, and falling out, I put them back on.LOL

I prefer running boards, but it looks good either way.

what brand of vent visors are those? I use AVS in-channel and the damned window is always trying to bounce back off of it on the driver's side.
