When my customers were presented with two options that would save their tires came down to $400 for springs installed or $80 + alignment to do the same thing guess which option ALL of them chose. LOL

One of those little trade secrets I took with me and am happy to spread around now that my income don't depend on it any more.

I can hear alignment techs the world over cringing and cussing me for letting this little secret out of the bag. Not to mention all those after market suspension component parts suppliers. hahahahahaha.

What size tires and do you have offset? I'm trying to decide on spacer size,I'll have 17x9 -12 wheels with 40x13.50 tires.

Honestly, I dont know the answers to all your questions ... I just know they are the stock FX wheels, which are 20x8.5 (I think) ... and I'm running 275/65R20's, which are 34.2" tall and just under 11" wide. 275mm is the stock width, so when I added the spacers, it was the same as me going to about a 12.5" wide tire on the stock wheels (in terms of where the outer-edge of the tire is now relative to the body of the truck.
